Controversy as Labour Party Members suspend’s Rivers state Chairperson, Hilda Dokubo over Support for Gov. Fubara

The Labour Party Chairman in Rivers, Mrs Hilda Dokubo, was on Thursday suspended as a member of the party in her ward, Asari Toru Local Government Area of the state.

The suspension is contained in a letter written to the Labour Party Chairman of the Asari Toru LGA and signed by the Ward Chairman, Mr Ajalamonia Ibama, the Secretary, Mr Lolo Amachree and the Treasurer, Mr Emmanuel Ibama the Others who signed the letter were the Women leader, Mrs Osaki Dieypiriye, and the Publicity Secretary, Osaki Dokubo.

The party ward officials suspended the chairwoman, alleging financial misconduct, abuse of office, and breach of party regulations, among other accusations.

The ward executives said the decision was made following a thorough investigation into these allegations.
