Job Summary:

Plans, organizes, and implements strategies to respond effectively to emergencies and disasters. This position involves coordination with various teams and the community, to ensure a swift and efficient response during critical situations.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency response activities.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels to ensure timely dissemination of information during emergencies.
  • Engage with the community to raise awareness about emergency preparedness and response measures.
  • Conduct educational programs and workshops to inform the public about potential risks and appropriate actions.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential emergencies and determine appropriate response strategies.
  • Stay informed about current emergency management trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with emergency management principles, procedures, and best practices.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in the use of communication tools and technologies.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make effective decisions during high-stress situations.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and the ability to remain calm in crises.
  • Ability to respond to emergencies on short notice and participate in on-site coordination activities.
