Grand Cereals Limited (GCL) is a Nigerian integrated foods company that is engaged in the production and marketing of consumer food products.
We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Commercial Team as Field Sales Executives for these
Locations: Lagos, Oyo, Kano, Kwara & Osun.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure achievement of Sales and Profitability targets within assigned territory.
- Ensure market share growth is achieved via adherence to coverage plan, and implementation of sales fundamentals in-store.
- Ensure promotional activity is implemented in the right outlets and well managed to deliver on the set activity objectives.
- Distributor recruitment and management to drive territory development via effective retail coverage.
- Maintain and update an accurate database of distributors, sub-distributors, wholesalers, retailers and farmers.
- Ensure at a minimum, once a quarter business performance review (Joint Business Plan) with each distributors.
- Manage Recommended Price Compliance by distributors, sub-distributors and other trade channels.
- Effective credit management to eliminate bad debts.
- Ensure effective customer/business development to counter competitive activities in the territory.
- Have accountability for the deployment of POS materials and achieving Brand Visibility Objectives across trade channels.
- Provide education to new customer on the benefits of the products, goods, or services in order to promote and build loyalty to their brand.
- Manage client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle.
- Work closely with operations and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Effectively handle customers with complaints or inquiries related to products, services, or purchases.
- Educate and avail customers with expected budget, payment agreements, and delivery estimates
Requirements:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in any course of study.
- At least one year experience in field sales preferably in FMCG or Agribusiness sector
- Minimum of two years driving experience and a valid driver’s license.
- Fluency in one or more major Nigerian languages will be an added advantage
- Mobility and flexibility to work in any Nigerian state is a key requirement for this role
