Nigerian Breweries Plc is a Nigeria-based brewing company. The Company is engaged in brewing, marketing, and selling of lager, stout, non-alcoholic malt drinks and soft drinks.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to join our team in the following positions;

1. Medical Doctor.

Job Summary:

To safeguard and promote employee health and wellbeing within the brewery by providing medical care, preventive health services, and occupational health oversight in line with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure and enforce conditions for the health, welfare and safety of employees
  • Implementation of planned medical activities and standardized policies
  • Supervision and quality monitoring of local selected secondary health care providers
  • Prevention of work-related incidents and accidents as well as occupational illnesses
  • Update and refresh knowledge attitude and practices of medical staff in co-operation with the Company Medical Adviser
  • Food Safety Management System (FSMS) Responsibility
  • Maintain a local network with relevant medical institutions, government agencies, and medical advisers of other members of the organized private sector
  • Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and exit medical examinations and assess employee fitness for work.
  • Provide first aid and emergency medical care for work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Manage the brewery clinic operations, ensuring high-quality service delivery and medical record keeping.
  • Identify and help mitigate workplace health risks in collaboration with the HSE team.
  • Lead health education and wellness programs, including disease prevention and lifestyle awareness campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health laws and company health policies.
  • Prepare and submit required health reports to management and regulatory authorities.
  • Offer confidential counselling and support to employees on health or wellbeing concerns.
  • Participate in Health and Safety Committee meetings and provide professional advice on medical issues.
  • Monitor sanitation, water quality, and hygiene standards across brewery facilities.

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Valid license to practice medicine in Nigeria.
  • 5 years’ experience in medical field including experience in industrial or occupational health settings.
  • At least 2 years of Occupational Health and Safety experience in the FMCG sector is an added advantage.
  • Postgraduate training or certification in Occupational Health or Public Health preferred.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

2. Executive Assistant to the Managing Director.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, an excellent communicator (both verbal and written) and capable of managing multiple priorities while always maintaining professionalism and excellent work ethics.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver seamless executive support through effective diary, meeting, and travel management.
  • Prepare and manage high-quality reports, presentations, and confidential correspondence.
  • Coordinate MT engagements, ensuring thorough follow-up on key actions and priorities.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison between the executives, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism while managing sensitive information.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively identify ways to enhance MT effectiveness and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of Second-Class Lower
  • At least 3 years’ corporate experience in business operations, office management, event management and customer service
  • At least 3 years’ proven experience supporting senior leaders in a dynamic environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
