  • Interpreting seismic data to enable mapping of exploration opportunities and remapping of mature fields/reservoirs.
  • Maintaining up-to-date structural and stratigraphic description of reservoirs including regional descriptions of reservoir systems.
  • Developing a solid understanding of depositional environments and fault frameworks of fields and reservoirs.
  • Maintaining up-to-date structural maps and reservoir property maps of assigned fields and reservoirs.
  • Ensure that maps incorporate all available information, and that uncertainties in maps and estimates of original and remaining hydrocarbon in-place volumes are understood.
  • Characterizing reservoirs and build geologic models for reservoir simulation using up to date tools and best practices.
  • Participating in decision making during drilling and workover activities.
  • Routine provision of geological insight into well and reservoir challenges towards resolving problems.
  • Liaising with geophysicists to ensure new technologies are adopted to improve geologic interpretations of reservoirs.
