Ports and Terminal Operators Nigeria Limited (PTOL) is a private maritime terminal operator located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. It operates a multi-purpose port terminal at the Rivers Port Complex (Terminal A) handling various cargo types — including containerized, bulk, and general cargo.
The terminal also provides warehousing, trucking, and logistics services to support import/export cargo flows.
We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team as a Manager / Senior Manager – Technical.
Responsibilities
- Lead preventive and corrective maintenance for terminal equipment (cranes, reach stackers, forklifts, generators, the etc.)
- Supervise workshop operations and technical teams
- Manage engineering projects, facility upgrades, and vendor performance
- Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment), EMS (Environmental Management System), and QMS (Quality Management System) standards
- Control technical budgets and monitor asset performance KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field
- 5–10 years’ experience (minimum 5 years in leadership role)
- Strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and terminal operations (especially Kalmar Reach Stacker)
- HSE and Project Management certifications are an added advantage
