Job Summary:
Responsible for promoting and ensuring optimal nutrition and health outcomes of community members. This role involves working with the communities to address nutritional needs, provide education, and contribute to overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual or group assessments to evaluate nutritional status, dietary habits, and health needs.
- Design, implement, and evaluate nutrition programs tailored to diverse populations, considering cultural and socio-economic factors.
- Engage with communities to raise awareness about the importance of nutrition and its impact on health
- Establish metrics and indicators to measure the effectiveness of nutrition programs.
- Regularly evaluate and adjust interventions based on outcomes and community members’ feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in nutrition counseling or program development is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of nutritional science, dietary guidelines, and health promotion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to tailor nutrition education to diverse audiences.
