The registrar of Port Harcourt Polytechnic, Chris A. Woke Esq has suspended Mr. Zoe Tamunotonye Solomon for three months over alleged Misconduct, harassment and exploitation of a female student in the institution.
According to the released signed by the Registrar of the institution Mr. Chris Woke in a statement said the school management has set up investigative panel to investigate the alleged sexual harassment of a female student miss Blessing Audu whom the lecturer arrested on allegation of diversion of two hundred and fifty thousand naira.
Miss Audu had denied diverting money belonging to the lecturer while insisting that she was arrested because she rejected his love advances and Marriage proposal.
The statement also said the committee is to submit it’s report in one Month time.
Earlier the student was detained by the police for two days but was released on intervention of the commissioner of Police in Rivers State Mr. Eboka Friday .
