We are seeking qualified candidate to join our team as a Production Operator

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor wells, production fасilities and equipment to maintain optimal performance
  • Perform routine inspections, checks, and adjustments on process equipment
  • Download pressure and temperature data from Permanent down hole gauge
  • Record and report production data such as pressures, temperatures, flow rates and fluid level
  • Detect, troubleshoot, and escalate equipment or process abnormalities to the Supervisor
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes, lubrication, and minor repairs
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, permit -to- work system, and safe operating systems
  • Support well testing pigging, chemical injection, and other production operations as required
  • Collect oil, gas and water samples for laboratory analysis
  • Assist in start up and shut down of facilities, well and process systems
  • Participate in emergency response drills and maintain readiness for field contingencies
  • Maintain housekeeping standards in all work areas
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting efficiency and safety enhancements

Requirements

  • Technical Diploma/OND/HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum, or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in oil and gas production operations (offshore and onshore)
  • Sound knowledge of old equipment such as separators, pumps, compressors, valves and control systems
  • Familiarity with SCADA/DC Systems and basic process instrumentation
  • Strong understanding of HSE requirements and permit – to -work system
  • Abilty to interpret production data and operating manuals
  • Good communication and team
  • Safety-conscious mindset.
  • Technical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Attention to detail and reliability.
  • Effective communication and teamwork
  • Flexibility to work shifts and schedules
