positions below
Security Officer – CONTEDISS 08
Candidate must possess a good Bachelor’s degree in Law, Criminology, Social Works and Psychology or any other relevant discipline with NYSC discharge or exemption certificate or
ex-police officer not below the rank of ASP with at least 5 years’ cognate experience or expolice inspector with 10 years’ cognate experience.
Assistant Chief Security Officer – CONTEDISS 08
Candidate must be an ex-police officer not below the rank of ASP with at least 2 years’
cognate experience or ex-police inspector with 7 years cognate experience.
Sports Coach – CONTEDISS 08
Candidate must have a good Bachelor’s Degree (Minimum of Second Class Honours, Lower Division) in Physical and Health Education, Nigeria Certificate in Education (Physical and
Health Education). Possession of National Institution for Sports Grade 11 coaching certificate is an advantage.
Assistant Coach – CONTEDISS 07
Candidate must have National Certificate in Education (NCE) in Physical and Health
Education or National Institution for Sport Grade 11 coaching certificate.

Assistant Craftsman CONTEDISS 03
Candidate must possess National Technical Certificate or its equivalent and
Government Trade Test Certificate Grade 11, performs duties that require
fabrication, processing, installation, maintenance, repairs, or inspection of
buildings, furniture, electrical/mechanical system, vehicles, mobile and stationary
machines and other materials and equipment on a specific task including
maintenance of lawns and gardens.

Candidate must possess National Diploma in Photography or videography from
recognized institution and must be computer literate.
Conditions of Service
- All successful candidates will be placed on probation for two (2) years continuous service on assumption of duties to the retiring age of 65 years.
- Persons above 50 years of age need not apply.
- Other conditions of service are similar to those obtainable in the Polytechnic in Nigeria
- regulated by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and the Rivers State Public
- Service.
