1.) Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager

    Job Summary

    Manage the HSE Health Safety Environment of Golden Pasta & Noodles, by directing industrial hygiene, occupational and general safety programs to ensure a safe and clean environment and comply with regulatory regulation.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate the safety and occupational health component of personnel, materials, equipment and environments to achieve safety effectiveness for the company.
    • Monitor and advice management on applicable federal, state, local legislation and codes governing health and safety.
    • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to evaluate and monitor the impact of the company operations on the environment.
    • Respond and provide expertise and to all emergency situations by facilitating data analysis and recurrence prevention programs and procedures.
    • Coordinate all contingency teams during rescue operation in the event of a large-scale hazard or emergency to avoid more damages.
    • Ensure compliance with HSE safety standards by review designs of new structures and procurement of safety gear and equipment and conduct on site review plus the audit of operations and facilities.

    Requirements

    • B.SC/HND/ B. Tech. in related field
    • Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Have demonstrated analytical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Critical thinker with success in developing innovative solutions to business issues.
    • Possess interpersonal and stakeholders’ management abilities.
    • Be proficient with Microsoft office suite or related HRIS software.
    • 5 Years in a food or beverage manufacturing company.
    • Member of the fire protection association of Nigeria, NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA will be an added advantage.

    2.) Mechanic

    Job Summary

    To ensure the smooth running of the installed generators for capacity utilization.

    Responsibilities

    • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all diesel and gas generators in the factory.
    • Carry out maintenance and repairs of ancillary equipment’s for the running of the generators
    • Operates all diesel and gas generators in the factory to achieve efficient plant operation
    • Installation of new plant equipment and modifications of existing installations
    • Carry out overhauls of power generating assets
    • Inspect power plant equipment and report findings
    • Carry out breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting/fault finding of generators and equipment.
    • To keep accurate records of maintenance, repair and plant operations.
    • Carry out any other assigned task.

    Requirements

    • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB/ Trade test
    • 2 years’ cognate experience
    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Able to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
    • Possess a strong foundation of in technical skills, proficient in utilizing various tools and technologies to deliver efficient solution.
    • Understanding and interpreting technical documents and manuals.
    • Have a strong interpersonal skill.

    3.) Power Plant Electrician

    Job Summary

    A Power Plant Electrician will undertake a variety of tasks relating to installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructures in efficient ways to improve plant availability and sustain equipment reliabilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform preventive maintenance and repair on all Switchgear control circuits, generators, turbines in accordance with procedures and OEM recommendations.
    • Repair and maintain electrical equipment in generating stations; tests defective equipment to determine cause of malfunction or failure.
    • Repair and replace equipment, such as relays, switches, and indicating and recording instruments.
    • Partake in installation/decommissioning of power generating equipment.
    • Perform detailed RCFA on a failed equipment or process and put further preventive actions in place.
    • Monitor loading; operate power generation equipment in an efficient and economical manner.
    • Observe all health and safety regulations in accordance with FMN safety policies.

    Requirements

    • 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB/Trade Test.
    • 2 years’ cognate experience
    • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proven knowledge of how to work with electrical systems and use various hand tools (e.g. wire strippers and multimeter)
    • Have sound troubleshooting knowledge and skills with the ability to find and solve problems quickly.
    • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Be able to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
