Egbin Power Plc is the largest power generating station in Nigeria with an installed capacity of 1,320 MW consisting of 6 Units of 220MW each.

We are seeking highly motivated skilled and qualified candidates to apply as head of Department, Electrical and head of Department, Mechanical Workshop.

1. Head of Department, Electrical

Job Summary

The Head of Department, Electrical Maintenance, oversees the maintenance, repair, and optimization of all electrical systems and equipment at Egbin Power Plc. This role ensures electrical assets’ reliable and efficient operation, supports plant performance and adheres to safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering.
  • Postgraduate/relevant professional qualification.
  • Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE)
  • Council for The Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) Registered Engineer
  • SMRP, CMRP Certification or other Relevant Certification.
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant work experience with at least five (5) years in a managerial role and significant exposure to Electrical maintenance of power plant operations.

2. Head of Department, Mechanical Workshop

Job Summary

The Head of the Mechanical Workshop Department will oversee the technical repairs of faulty parts and components, as well as handle fabrications within the plant.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of work experience with exposure to mechanical workshop engineering.
