Incorporated in 2006, First Independent Power Limited is a licensed power generation company which owns and operates power plants in Rivers State, Nigeria.

Job Summary:

The Security Coordinator will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s facilities, assets, and personnel by ensuring the effective deployment of security resources and services.

Responsibilities:

• The role involves enforcing security procedures and protocols, gathering intelligence, supervising security guards, and investigating security breaches.
• The Security Coordinator will also prepare and submit periodic reports to the Chief Security Officer, coordinate staff and vehicle movement requests, and maintain collaboration with law enforcement agencies.

Requirements:

• Must Possess a HND in Criminology & Security, Social/Management Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Must have completed NYSC.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role or function.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Strong computer literacy with sound knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance operations.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting abilities.
• Proven leadership and team supervision skills.

Location: Rivers State.
