Job Description

Subsea Wellhead Field Service Specialist provides offshore and onshore support to customers and Baker Hughes (BH) wellhead and ancillary’s installation, maintenance, repair, operation and decommissioning of Subsea equipment and services.

Responsibilities include; Performing on-site installation and decommissioning of Baker Hughes (BH) systems and equipment, Providing technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation and decommissioning at customer’s sites
Participating in EHS, Integrity and Quality programs and initiatives, Maintaining e and recork DPRT tools, Etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Mechanical Engineering fields (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Engineering/Technology)
  • Have 6 years’ experience in Subsea Field Services Engineer role – specifically Controls, Completions and/or Wellhead (MS 700, MS 800, & SG-5).
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of one of the Product Category (Wellhead operations) & working Environment, Can Supervise in 2nd Product Category of Baker Hughes Skill set competency.
  • Have willingness and ability to travel 100% of the time at short notice – this is an ad hoc role and flexibility is essential.
  • Have a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate ( please indicate clearly on resume)
