The university of Port Harcourt has dismissed a purported resumption memo currently been circulated on the media informing students of the resumption of school on the 10th October, 2022.
In a statement signed by SAM KPENU, PhD, the
Public Relations Officer which reads partly says its the handiwork of mischief makers as he calls on Parents, Guardians, students and concerned stakeholders to discountenance the October 10 resumption date
“The attention of Management of the University of Port Harcourt, has been drawn to a purported resumption memo circulating online directing Students to resume academic activities on October 10, 2022.
“Management hereby states that the memo did not originate from the Management of the University.
“This rejoinder, therefore, becomes necessary to correct the misleading information put out by faceless online blog.
“Management therefore, wishes to inform the public, especially Parents, Guardians, students and concerned stakeholders to discountenance the October 10 resumption date as that is the handiwork of mischief makers” he said.
