Requirements for Teaching Positions:

ASSISTANT LECTURER

The candidate shall possess a good degree NOT less than Second Class Lower Division plus a Masters degree OR a Masters degree and professional registration
Must be registered in Google Scholar.

• ENGINEERING
  • Bachelor of Engineering/Technology (B.Eng./B.Tech) degree with minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division plus professional registration.

• ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES
  • Bachelor of Science/Technology (B.Sc./B.Tech) degree with minimum of 2nd Class Lower Division plus professional registration.

• MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE
  • Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS); AMLSCN (Associate) or FMLSCN (Fellow).

• NURSING SCIENCES
  • Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc.) degree plus professional registration (RN).

• PHARMACY
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.).

LECTURER II:

The candidate shall possess a Ph.D. from a recognized University OR Masters degree plus one (1) journal publication, three (3) years pre-teaching experience and must be registered in Google Scholar.

• ENGINEERING
  • Master of Engineering/Technology (M.Eng./M.Tech.) degree and registrable by COREN.

• ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES
  • Master of Science/Technology (M.Sc./M.Tech) degree and registrable by ARCON, CORBON, ESVABON, NES, QSRBN, SURCON, TOPREC.

• MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE
  • Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS); AMLSCN (Associate) or FMLSCN (Fellow), plus a Masters degree.

• NURSING SCIENCES
  • Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc.) degree plus professional registration (RN) plus Masters Degree.

• PHARMACY
  • Pharm. D. plus professional registration with Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN).

• Lecturer I (For Clinical Sciences)
  • MBBS plus Ph.D in relevant area with MDCN registration, OR MBBS plus Fellowship certificate from the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria or its equivalent with MDCN registration.

• MEDICAL DOCTORS (Lect. II)
  • MBBS; MD; BDS or equivalent, plus professional registration by Medical and Dental Council (MDCN).

• TECHNOLOGIST II:
  • HND, Final Diploma, B.Sc. (Professional Degree).
  • Registrable with the relevant institute plus National Youth Service Certificate.

• LABORATORY SCIENTIST II:
  • HND, Final Diploma, B.Sc. (Professional degree).
  • Registrable with the relevant Institute, plus National Youth Service Certificate (NYSC).

• MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN:
  • WASC or SSC, plus three (3) years Training and registration with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria for Technician.

• PHARMACY TECHNICIAN:
  • WASC or SSC with three (3) years training and registration with the Pharmacy Council of Nigeria for Technician Cadres (PCN).

• NURSING OFFICER:
  • N.R.N or N.R.M.

• AGRICULTURAL SUPERINTENDENT:
  • OND/ND in relevant field.

• FARM OFFICER II:
  • HND with PGD in Agriculture or B. Agric./B. Fisheries degree plus National Youth Service Certificate.
