Application Opens For FG Youth Farmers Empowerment Program 2025.

The Federal Government has unveiled the Youth Farmers Enrollment Portal, an initiative aimed at combating rising unemployment and food insecurity
across the nation.

According to Comrade Olawande, The Honourable Minister of Youth Development, during the launching Ceremony in abuja said the initiative, developed in partnership with the Nigerian youth Economic Engagement and De-Radicalisation Programme (NIYEEDEP) will create economic opportunities for youth and bolster the nation’s agricultural sector.

This intervention is designed to align young people with the economic agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, promoting active youth participation in economic development,” the Minister stated.

He emphasized that the initiative aims to create 6 million direct jobs for youths in 2025 across agriculture, food and beverage, and agro-allied sectors, addressing youth Unemployment, household Poverty, hunger and food security.

“This initiative is not just about increasing food production, it is about empowering young Nigerians with sustainable skills, creating jobs in rural and urban areas, and ensuring the welfare and security of our citizens,” he explained explained.

About the Youth Economic Empowerment!

The Nigerian Youth Economic Engagement and De-Radicalization Programme is designed to improve youth economic engagement, aid young people in agric related ventures and promote the actualization of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s food security agenda.

The Programme will create over 6 million direct jobs in 2025 within the agric related sector of the economy, contributing to household poverty alleviation, food security, mass employment generation, youth deradicalization and national stability
