We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team as an Auditor/Tax Accountant
Job Summary
This is a full-time on-site role for an Auditor/Tax Accountant, located in Port-Harcourt.
Responsibilities
- Conducting thorough audits of financial records to ensure accuracy, integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to minimize financial risks and ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns, ensuring adherence to all relevant tax regulations.
- Advise the organization on tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize tax benefits.
- Collaborate with finance and management teams on financial reporting.
- Ensure that assets are protected and financial procedures comply with relevant policies and legislation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Expertise in accounting standards and auditing procedures.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and high ethical standards for accuracy and confidentiality.
- Excellent written/communication skills
- Experience in the oil and gas sector is a plus Professional certifications (e.g. ICAN,ACA, ACCA, CITN) are required.
