First Independent Power Limited (FIPL), a subsidiary of Sahara Power Group, is a privately owned company in the business of power generation in Nigeria located in Rivers State.

We are seeking Application from qualified candidates to fill the of Contracting & Procurement Analyst , Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Analyze purchasing data for informed procurement decisions.
  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Manage procurement processes, ensuring alignment with Service Level Agreements.
  • Perform cost analysis and forecasting for purchase requisitions, contracts, and orders.
  • Timely update and analyze reports, prepare weekly and monthly reports, and conduct forecasts.
  • Generate accurate reports using basic software and recommend vendor selections for RFQs.
  • Develop and maintain procurement metrics to track key performance indicators.
  • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement, including sourcing and negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance\ with procurement policies and i dentify cost- saving opportunities through data- driven analysis.
  • Prepare Cost- benefit analysis r reports for review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or engineering
  • NYSC Certificate/Exemption letter
  • Minimum of 5 years
  • experience in data analysis, optimization & reporting using Power Bl and other relevant tools
  • Experience with Sage Software
  • ln-depth business management, supply chain & strategic knowledge
  • Negotiation skills
