IT Support at First Metro Infrastructure Limited

First Metro Infrastructure Limited is a Nigerian company that operates in the infrastructure and engineering sector. The company is involved in delivering infrastructure solutions that support urban development and economic growth.

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team as an IT Support.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line support to users via phone, email, and in-person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Assist with the set-up and configuration of new equipment and software.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and manage equipment returns.
• Document all support interactions and solutions in the ticketing system.
• Assist with user account management, including password resets and access permissions.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff on complex issues and participate in IT projects as needed.
• Educate users on best practices for technology use and security.

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in IT related role.
• Proven experience with IT support/helpdesk or troubleshooting tasks, including proficiency in Windows/macOS environments, Microsoft Office 365, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Ability to think logically and troubleshoot issues systematically.
• Ability to explain technical solutions to non-technical users clearly.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
