JUST IN: Court grants bail to embattled Rivers PDP gov aspirant, Dagogo

A Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has granted bail to a governorship aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State, Hon. Farah Dagogo.

The presiding Judge, Justice Chiwendu Nworgu granted Dagogo bail with the Sum of 20 Million.

Justice Chinwendu Nworgu had adjourned the case to June 28 after lawyers in the matter adopted their written addresses and argued extensively for and against Dagogo’s bail application.

Recall that Dagogo representing the Bonny/Degema federal constituency and a governorship aspirant was arrested by the Police at the PDP South-South office in the Port Harcourt, the venue of the Governorship screening exercise for aspirants.

He was arraigned before a separate court after being charged with two counts bothering on felony, carrying firearms and causing violence to members of PDP and officers of the screening committee at the PDP secretariat in Port Harcourt.
