Job Title: Operation Engineer
Location : Port-Harcourt
Job Summary
We are a leading service provider in the oil and gas, marine and construction industry, looking for a dynamic and experienced Operations Engineer whose primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe, efficient, and quality-driven delivery of field services and operations in accordance with our technical standards, QHSE policies, client requirements, and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule field and operation services jobs in collaboration with Admin, Logistics, and Sales teams.
- Lead field operations ensuring high-quality, timely, and cost-effective job delivery.
- Supervise field technicians, ensuring adherence to JCI’s job execution standards.
- Monitor equipment allocation, usage, and readiness.
- Provide operational feedback post-job execution to improve future processes.
- Participate in pre-job planning and post-job reviews to capture lessons learned.
- Ensure that all job-related documentation (JSAs, permits, checklists) are completed accurately. Escalate challenges affecting job delivery promptly to the Operations Service Leader.
Requirements
- BSc or HND in any engineering discipline or Sciences.
- 5-7 years experience in similar role
- Professional certification in Project Management is an added advantage
- Sound knowledge of oil & gas operational procedures and safety standards.
- Proficiency in the use of relevant tools and project management software.
