Debyl Limited is a Port Harcourt based ISO 9001:2015 QMS certified technical maintenance and procurement services company in the Nigeria Oil and Gas sector.

We are hiring to fill in the following position:

Job Title: Procurement Officer
Location: Port-Harcourt

Responsibilities

  • Kick start the sourcing processes of all tenders and enquiries
  • Gather list of sellers in line with selection processes.
  • Preparation of quotations and tenders
  • Send out RFQs and follow up with vendor.
  • Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices.
  • Lead the process of receiving supplies for Orders issued to vendors.
  • Data input/data analytics and housekeeping of the Procurement Departments electronic folders.
  • Edit and prepare submission templates in line with the tender’s requirement.
  • Research potential vendors.
  • Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
  • To conduct clerical/administrative tasks within the Procurement Department.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
  • To liaise with internal customers to provide status updates on orders.
  • Interact with suppliers to ensure high quality, competitive cost and on time delivery by utilizing RFI, RFP and RFQ
  • Always be handy to support in any other procurement related tasks as they become available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pure Science, Management Sciences or its equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in procurement or similar roles
  • The successful candidate should be details-oriented and focused.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel
