Job Responsibilities
- The SAP Procurement Lead will be responsible for applying business & technical expertise to design, implement and support new business capabilities into the SAP Procurement system and recommend SAP Procurement (SAP MM) best practices that fit BUA Foods & HQ reporting requirements.
- He/She will work closely with the SAP Automation & Delivery Lead and the entire implementation team to ensure that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the expected quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related disciplines.
- Relevant professional certifications in SAP Procurement (SAP Materials Management).
- +7 years or more years of experience in procurement, supply chain, engineering, or other commercial experience.
- Experience in developing and deploying procurement strategies and processes.
- Certification in procurement or supply management is desirable.
- Experience in managing supplier relationships.
- Strong technical knowledge of good procurement practices including negotiation, demand management, supplier qualification, sourcing, bidding, and contracting, supplier performance management, and risk management.
- Knowledge of SAP and other procurement ERP systems.
- Experience in implementing SAP Procurement solutions in at least one Manufacturing Company, especially in the FMCG.
- Experience with SAP Procurement implementations, preferably in a manufacturing industry
- Experience in SAP MM Experience in managing Cisco gear and other networks will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Procurement
- Ability to work independently and within large teams and manage multiple priorities.
