We are recruiting qualified candidates to join our Finance Team as an Account Officer.
Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to support our finance operations and contribute to the success of a leading construction company in Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Assist in general review of accounting ledger: Ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Prepare timely bank statements: Reconciling bank statements and ensuring prompt identification of discrepancies.
- In charge of monthly schedule of VAT and WHT tax: Managing tax compliance and ensuring timely submissions.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reports: Supporting the preparation of financial reports for management.
- Assist in monitoring project budgeted and actual costs:
- Tracking project expenses and ensuring effective cost management
- Assist in tracking financial requests daily.
- Any other tasks as assigned by your line supervisor.
Requirements
- HND/ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or any related field of study
- 0-2 years of proven experience as an Account Officer
- Proficiency in MS Word
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
