Job Summary

As an Accounts Officer, your role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will be responsible for various financial activities, including the preparation and filing of bank-related documents, reconciliation of inter-company accounts, analysis and posting of bank charges, as well as overseeing receivable and payable accounts. Your responsibilities will extend to the preparation and posting of rent amortization and prepayments, as well as the meticulous handling of statutory dues and salary payments.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and filling of bank payment, receipt, maintenance billing and journal vouchers.
  • Carry out inter-company accounts reconciliation with other companies within the Group.
  • Analyzing and posting of monthly Bank charges, COT and interests, including bank reconciliation.
  • Review of receivable and payable accounts including staff, tenant and others.
  • Preparing and posting of Rent amortization and prepayments.
  • Preparation and payments of al statutory dues and salaries (VAT, Pension, PAYE, WHT, CIT and EDT).

Requirements:

  • HND/B.Sc in Accounting.
  • Minimum of three (03) years post qualification experience.
  • ATS or Progressive stages in related Professional Examination.
  • Proficiency in any Accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
