Hudson Pacific Energy is an energy and maritime-focused company that provides support services to offshore operations, particularly in the oil and gas sector. The company is involved in vessel management, marine logistics, and offshore support services.
We are inviting qualified candidates to join our team in the following positions:
1) Control Room Officer
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily Control Room operations with the utmost integrity and efficiency.
- Manage the main switchboard, answering all incoming calls courteously and promptly directing them to the appropriate departments.
- Monitor and track the positions of all company vessels daily using Marine Traffic, AIS (Automatic Identification System), SSAS, and Falcon Game Track.
- Ensure the timely submission of vessels’ Daily Progress Reports (DPR).
- Review DPRs for accuracy, flag any inconsistencies or errors for correction, and log the consumption of fuel, lube/hydraulic oil, food, and water.
- Tabulate daily consumption figures to verify the vessel’s Remaining on Board (ROB) metrics upon arrival at the jetty, with final checks conducted at the end of each month.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other IT-related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures.
2) Procurement Officer
Responsibilities
- PR to PO cycle should be between 1–3 days for standard purchases.
- Send RFQs for all goods and service requests, ensuring timely expediting within 24–48 hours.
- Raise and issue Purchase Orders for all vendor engagements, ensuring all necessary details are captured and communicated before service/delivery begins.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Conduct price comparisons vis-à-vis value to ensure cost-effective
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 0–2 years of post-NYSC experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Membership of professional bodies would be an added advantage.
3) Business Development Officer
Responsibilities
- Monitor procurement portals (like Nipex and NIOS) daily for new tenders and opportunities.
- Assist in compiling, formatting, and submitting tender documents and proposals.
- Maintain and update the commercial pipeline tracker weekly.
- Track bid submissions and update the win/loss register.
- Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and project pipelines.
- Coordinate vendor registration and pre-qualification with clients and contractors.
- Manage documentation, certifications, and company credentials.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, correspondence tracking, and event coordination.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in business development, commercial, or administrative support roles.
- Experience in oil & gas, offshore logistics, maritime services, or related industries is an advantage.
4) Human Resources and Administration Associate
Responsibilities
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Review biometric attendance reports and advise staff on lateness.
- Process payroll and resolve payroll errors; provide data on attendance, absence, and leave.
- Ensure monthly NSITF receipt issuance and annual NSITF clearance certificates.
- Prepare and remit accrued payments for staff (e.g., PFA as required).
- Manage PENCOM compliance, including pension contribution records and remittances.
- Maintain employee records for pension contributions and certified salary documentation.
- Prepare monthly leave lists and document new timesheets.
- Handle employee handover processes.
- Ensure remittance schedules are sent to PFA administrators within required timelines.
HR Operations / Administrative Functions
- Support daily HR operations and provide administrative assistance to HR executives.
- Coordinate training sessions (internal/external) and track attendance and evaluations.
- Maintain weekly training logs for offshore and onshore staff.
- Book and coordinate staff flights when required.
- Prepare and distribute internal announcements (recruitment, promotion, confirmation, resignation, termination).
- Maintain employee personnel records and files.
- Handle stock management and monitor compliance with HR policies.
Requirements
- Minimum of B.Sc. or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any Social Science discipline.
- Professional HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, SPHRM, HRCI, CIPD) are an added advantage.
- At least 3 years of HR experience in a structured organization.
- Strong typing and computer skills (especially Microsoft Office).
- Basic knowledge of labour laws
