▪️Reports to: GSE Senior Technician.
Job Summary:
Performs all the maintenance tasks on the Ground Support Equipment in accordance with OEM approved documentation in compliance with Air peace and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair aircraft grond support and industrial equipment and other associated electrical and electronic controls.
- Read, interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and thw electrical code specifications.
- Test electrical and electronic equipment components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Maintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control system.
- Conduct Preventive programs and general electrical maintenance.
- May install, maintain, ans calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma in electrical engineering (Minimum).
- At least 3 years Ground Support Equipment Maintenance experience.
- Knowledge in welding is an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interprete technical manuals to perform duties.
- Good interpretational, teamwork and Communication skills.
- Knowledge of aviation legislation/Regulations.
- Proficiency in computer Applications.
- Must have proven integrity, transparency, and accountability.
- Safety awareness and good analytical thinking.
- Excellent customer service orientation.
Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve 95% of the Group Support Equipment Availability.
- Quality of components and Equipment Maintenance (MTBF)
- Number of incidents/Accidents
- Proper use of materials and consumables required for the Ground Support Equipment Maintenance.
