Job Description
The HR & Admin Head will oversee all human resources and administrative functions, ensuring the effective management of personnel and organizational operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures in line with company objectives.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance evaluation and offboarding.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Lead workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts to meet staffing needs.
- Administer employee benefits, compensation, and payroll processes.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Handle employee training and development programs.
- Oversee administrative functions, including office facilities and supplies.
- Manage relationships with external HR and legal partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is preferred.
- 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the Manufacturing/FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in employee relations and performance management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office suite.
