Job Responsibilities.
- Manage procurement of all technical materials, goods and services
- Ensure cost, cash, quality and service optimization
- Manage & execute contracts based on formal legal T&C’s
- Add value through strategic sourcing, value engineering, innovation, delivery
- and risk management
- Optimize inventory while ensuring timeliness of deliveries & reduction in
- procedural delays
- Influence stakeholder relationships to achieve purchasing objectives,
- implement innovation strategy and business needs change
- Continuously gather, analyse, interpret & act upon market intelligence
- Communicate internal stakeholders as appropriate
- Feedstock and market assumptions translated into annual budget and
- quarterly reforecast of portfolio spend
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Post graduate qualification/or relevant professional qualification will be an added
- advantage
- Minimum of ten (10) years relevant work experience, four (4) of which must have been in a supervisory role
