Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate pigging operations for oil and gas pipelines.
- Lead a team of field technicians to ensure safe and efficient execution of pigging activities.
- Conduct pre-job planning, including risk assessments and resource allocation.
- Monitor pigging progress and provide real-time support to resolve any operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies throughout all stages of the pigging process.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize pigging schedules and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of pigging activities, including inspection reports and equipment maintenance logs.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pigging efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in pigging operations within the oil and gas industry (at least 5 years).
- API certified.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- In-depth knowledge of pigging equipment, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments and adapt to changing conditions.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to travel as required.
