The Niger Delta Development Commission is a federal government agency established by Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo in the year 2000 with the sole mandate of developing the oil-rich Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
THE NDDC MISSION FOR THE NIGER DELTA
To offer a lasting solution to the socio-economic difficulties of the Niger Delta Region and to facilitate the rapid and sustainable development of the Niger Delta into a region that is economically prosperous, socially stable, ecologically regenerative and politically peaceful.
About the Program HOPE:
The initiative, called HOPE, stands for Holistic Opportunity Projects of Engagement, and it aims to create 1,000 jobs per state through strategic partnerships and skill development.
According to the MD/CEO of NDDC, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, said project HOPE is to touch the lives of youths in the Niger Delta. It is holistic because it will be all-encompassing and sustainable. We encourage every youth in the Niger Delta
Following the Application to engage 1,000 persons per state Within the Nine Niger Delta States which Comprises of Imo, Abia, Rivers, Bayelsa, Edo, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Ondo State.
We are pleased to inform you that the Commission will begin engagement procedures for qualified Candidates on the 11th of September, 2023 according to a text message sighted which Reads
“Congratulations! You are expected to be at the NDDC State Office Abia state for engagement procedures.
