Job Summary
As a project Engineer, you will be Responsible for the successful execution of the assigned project package by coordinating all the disciplines involved such as engineering, procurement, inspection, testing, transport, etc., in accordance with TechnipFMC QHSES corporate policies, contractual commitments (design data, codes, classes etc.), schedule and budget.
Job Responsibilities
- You will be providing insight and possibly supervision to work teams comprised of various skill levels.
- Work with clients to understand their needs. Perform computer modeling and analysis to support engineering projects.
- Knowledgeable in use of relevant Engineering tools.
- Defines product quality, material, welding, and NDE requirements.
- Etc.
Requirements
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least 10 years’ mechanical, electronic and/or hydraulic related experience in an oilfield equipment environment (particularly subsea production hardware) and successful completion of the Engineering Boot Camp.
- Capable of doing system engineering tasks. Capable of producing standard technical system documents.
- Capable of solving technical issues with coaching.
- Knowledgeable in how changes influence system engineering cost. Experience of identifying and managing interfaces within the engineering team, including technical disciplines, project management, client, suppliers and key stakeholders.
- Capable of leading internal meetings.
- 10+ years’ experience in one or more of the following packages: Subsea Engineering, Flow Assurance, Production Operations, Project Engineering, Hardware package delivery (Systems, Tree’s, Controls, Pipelines, Manifolds, Installations etc.)
