Programme Summary:
The HEMM Operators Training Programme is designed to develop safe, skilled, and competent operators for mining operations with a target of providing a ready pool of well-trained candidates to take up positions as Dangote Cement certified mines HEMM Operators.
Requirements:
- Secondary School Leavers with minimum of 5 Credit pass including English and Mathematics (WAEC/NECO)
- Technical college graduates with national technical Certificate (NTC) and NABTEB or Trade Test I, II, III.
- Age limit must be between 22 to 35 years old.
- Valid means of identification
- Good physical and mental fitness
- Strong safety awareness and discipline
- Willingness to undergo intensive training and assessments.
Programme Overview
- The training programme will combine behavioural screening
- safety training
- classroom instruction
- Simulations.
- Workshops.
- Intensive field practice to prepare participants for effective and safe operation of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM).
