1.) Head, Talent Management
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate is responsible to Develop and implement talent management strategies that align with organizational goals, objectives, and values
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the talent acquisition and retention processes to ensure the organization has the right talent to meet its goals
- Implement career development programs that support employee retention and talent management
- Manage and develop a highly skilled talent management team to ensure the delivery of high-quality talent development and acquisition programs and services
- Develop a companywide talent strategy to improve recruitment and business performance
- Developing and implementing employee retention programmes or strategies
- Understanding workforce planning and resource forecasting.
- Develop effective strategies for identifying skills gaps within the workforce
- Monitoring and reporting on staff turnover rates
- Articulate the corporate culture and underlying values for the company and its businesses and drive the implementation across the company
- Developing and implementing progressive talent management policies and processes for all roles across the company
- Managing talent promotion and succession planning process
- Serve as an advisor regarding key talent strategies and issues, including succession planning, leadership development, employee retention, compensation, benefits etc.
- Designing policies, processes and programs that support the overall talent strategy in relation to organizational architecture, planning, development, and management.
- Prepare periodic reports for the attention of the Chief Human Resources Officer.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Human Resources Officer
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Professional qualification in HR Management e.g., Senior Professional in HR (SPHRi), SHRM, Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) is a must.
- Possession of a master’s degree will be added advantage
- Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant progressive experience with at least five (5) in a leadership role.
- Experience in developing and executing talent management strategies.
- Experience in developing and implementing career development programs and retention programs.
- Experience in developing and implementing a competency framework
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Good knowledge of the power sector in terms of trends, challenges, opportunities, regulations, legislation etc.
- Ability to think strategically and holistically and to appreciate the systematic impact of various issues and solutions
- Very good knowledge and application of Microsoft Office suites, especially PowerPoint
- Solid understanding of data analysis, forecasting and budgeting

2) IT Business Application Officer
Job Summary:
You will be responsible for using technology to improve business performance and Strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Assesses user needs to provide support and proactive service, including analysis of opportunities to take advantage of available tools.
- Focal point for communicating related system problems within the organization and collaborates with other teams and vendors on changes, fixes, and updates.
- Manages the release process for applications which includes effective department-wide and end-user communication.
- Develops relevant metrics, measures and publishes the services’ performance and enables continuous improvement activities in collaboration with all stakeholders.
- Works closely with all other departments in identifying, evaluating, selecting, and implementing specific information technologies that support the business plans and IT strategies.
- Ensure the department adheres to policies and procedures that are compliant with industry and regulatory policies
- Assists with the preparation of budget for IT systems and services-related interfaces and applications
- Keeps abreast of new developments and forecasts future trends in the area of application integration in the Power industry.
- Maintains a strong understanding of technology and its application to achieve business objectives
- Responsible for finding the root cause of an application malfunction.
- Provides ongoing troubleshooting, support, and maintenance of applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Infrastructure Team Lead.
- Implement data protection policies and practices of Egbin Power Plc.
- Ensure compliance with the NDPR and other data protection laws, and data protection policies.
- Undertake Data Protection Impact Assessment as applicable to curb the risk during data processing operations
- Ensure awareness, understanding and application of QHSE policy and application of departmental objectives
- Ensure awareness of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 &45001:2018) and the implications of not conforming with the requirements.
- Understand and identify hazards, risks, environmental aspects and Impacts as it is related to their jobs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or any related field.
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience.
- A post-graduate degree or certifications will be an added advantage.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of business application support and development.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL Database, Linux/Unix systems, scripting, and basic network configurations and maintaining technical data reports.
- Knowledge and understanding of goals and the inter-dependencies of functional departments and groups and the ability to lead large-scale complex IT projects in addressing overall business needs
- Excellent written, oral, instructional, presentation, and interpersonal skills focused on motivation and positive attitude.
- Highly self-motivated, directed, and change-oriented.
- Ability to handle confrontation with appropriate grace, professionalism, cordiality, and firmness, and manage/resolve disputes appropriately • Knowledge of new technologies and maintain and stay abreast of updates and changes.
- Four or more years of professional experience in planning and managing IT programs including budgeting, resource management, and delivery development.
