Over the years, the FMN brand grew tremendously from operating as a single business, flour miller, to a vast business group with strategic investments that cover key sectors of the Nigerian economy.
We are hiring to fill in the following position:

Job Title: Electrician
Location: Enugu

Job Summary

To carry out installation and maintenance services of electrical systems and repair of machinery to enhance productivity within the company and subsidiaries to meet organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned maintenance on the BU electrical equipment and infrastructures to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical components to keep machine running efficiently.
  • Check the current values (I) of drives and ensure it is operating within the related limits.
  • Diagnose and repair circuit and components issues.
  • Carry out “Root cause analysis” on repeated or major problems and troubleshoot problems to aid effective maintenance.
  • Carry out maintenance strictly with the use of electrical diagram and checklist.
  • Report on the general condition of equipment and recommend replacement when necessary to the supervisor.

Requirements

  • OND Certificate in Science will be an added advantage.
  • O’ Level WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/Trade Test.
  • 2 years cognate experience.
  • Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Experience operating hand and power tools, soldering and fault-testing equipment.
  • Have good organizational and time management abilities.
  • Be observant and detail oriented.
