I AM OVERWHELMED BY THE SHOW OF LOVE AT THE BALLOT – RIVERS APC CHAIRMAN-ELECT.

The Chairman-Elect of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rivers State; Chief Emeka Beke has disclosed that he is not only overwhelmed with joy by the show of love at the ballot from the delegates that participated at the State Congress of the All Progressives Congress yesterday but feels strongly indebted to the people.

This was made yesterday Saturday 16th October, 2021 during his Official Acceptance Speech(OAS), at Port Harcourt Polo Club, venue for the APC Rivers State Congress immediately after he was declared winner by the National APC State Congress Committee to Rivers State led by Dr. Abubakar Idris Usman.

The former two term State Secretary of the party and a titled Chief in Emohua Local Government Area; Chief Beke described the exercise as peaceful, transparent and
credible while assuring the entire APC family in Rivers State that he will not do anything below standard in the confidence reposed on him in line with the globally acceptable standard for political party administration.

“We are going to work as a family with my brother Chizy Nyeomasila, the State Executive, our leaders and the entire membership of the party to ensure that we take over Brick House in 2023”.

“Let me thank Rt.Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, the Leader of APC in Rivers State and South-South for the opportunity and love for me”.

Earlier, one of the candidates for the State Championship position Mr. Chizy Nyeomasila, shortly after the congress while addressing delegates said he has accepted the results and that he will work with the winner Chief Emeka Beke in the interest of party members and Rivers people who are expecting a change in governance.
