Police Exhume Remains Of Late Ogoni King Kidnapped 2 Years Ago

The decomposed body of the kidnapped Traditional Ruler of Luwa Community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State ,Late Chief Loolo, who was kidnapped in June 2019 In his palace at about 8:50 pm has been found by the police.

Divisional Police officer in charge of Bori Divisional headquarters Khana local government Mr. Bako Angbashim led the team to a thick creek linking Luwa, Bera and Bani Community where the body was exhumed.


Mr. Angbashim said the discovery followed a thorough investigation and random search in various forests within the area.
The Police DPO who advised kidnappers and those behind criminal activities to vacate Ogoni land further said his men will stop at nothing in ensuring that the perpetrators are arrested.

Meanwhile, children of the late king who joined the police to the creek, said they were traumatised over the kidnapped and discovery of their father’s remains.

One of his children, Dr Douglas Fabeke said it is heartbreaking that their father was killed or left to die even after they paid ransom to the kidnappers.


Dr. Fabeke appealed to the Security Agencies to ensure that perpetrators of the heinous crime are brought to book.
