Arion Energy Services Limited is a Nigerian oil and gas engineering company that provides engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and manpower services to the energy sector. The company supports both onshore and offshore operations, serving clients in the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas industries.

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our team as a Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the maintenance and reliability of rotating equipment.
  • Troubleshooting equipment failures and implementing corrective actions.
  • Conducting vibration analysis and condition monitoring.
  • Performing root cause failure investigations.
  • Supervising maintenance teams and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Supporting offshore production facilities to maximize equipment availability and reliability.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • COREN registration or Chartered Engineer status.
  • At least 15 years of offshore production experience.
  • Strong expertise in rotating equipment such as:
  • Compressors, Turbines, Pumps, Generators, Cranes
  • Experience in condition monitoring and vibration analysis.
  • Knowledge of root cause failure analysis (RCFA).
  • FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) experience is preferred.
  • A valid BOSIET certificate and offshore medical certificate (or willingness to obtain them).
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Knowledge of French and experience working in West Africa will be an added advantage.
