Job Summary:
The role oversees project planning, designing, execution, supervision and documentation alongside plant utility installations and maintenance for optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all project related to the plant.
- Plan projects and evaluate.
- Carry out design and AutoCAD drawing of the project to be executed.
- Prepare material data sheet for project and service requisition for project works.
- Check and ensure that materials to be supplied to project sites are according to specifications.
- Supervise project executions from site preparations to project job completion.
- Ensure all project work resources are adequately accommodated and carry out necessary project documentations.
- Draw up maintenance programmes and ensure their execution.
- Ensure pump and pipeline spare parts are available for use by placing timely orders.
- Implement all requirements of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and any other relevant management systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical, Civil / Structural engineering or any other related fields
- 4- 6 years’ experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and other design related software
- Versatile in Primavera, MS Project
- Proficient in equipment installation and maintenance
- Use of Microsoft offices – Excel, Words and PowerPoint
- Good communication skills – oral and written
- Time management and report writing skills
- Problem solving and strategic thinking skills
