Piping Engineer at Ariosh Engineering & Construction

Job Description

Responsible for piping design of the assigned system(s) by the lead engineer on a large project
Leading the piping team in small projects
Training and development of less experienced engineers within the piping team

Available Positions

  • Lead Piping Engineer
  • Senior Piping Engineer
  • Intermediate Piping Engineer/Designer

Responsibilities

  • Provide piping input to other disciplines and 3rd parties (including vendors)
  • Perform interdisciplinary checks when the task is delegated to him or when acting as the piping team lead
  • Participate in technical and design review workshops as per project requirements
  • Training and Development of less experienced engineers within the team as per the piping discipline plan
  • Perform other duties as may be directed by the company.

Key Competencies

  • Proficient in working with Caesar, PDMS and good computer literacy particularly in MS Office Suite
  • Strong Problem Solving, Planning and organizing skills
  • Good leadership skills
  • Excellent understanding of piping systems
  • Effective oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of autonomy and self-efficiency with attention to details
  • Highly aware of safety in design

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 8 to 13 years of piping design experience in oil and gas projects
  • Working knowledge of codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to design and construction of oil and gas production/processing facilities including and Client standards
  • Broad knowledge of oil and gas facilities and project management
  • Registered professional engineer.
