Ahead of Inauguration of elected State executive officers of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State, two separate suit challenging the conduct of ward, local government and state congresses of the party in the State set for judgment at the state High Court sitting in Port Harcourt has been adjourned

While one of the suits was instituted by OGECHI OGWU-EDWIN and three others the All Progressives Congress and it’s Caretaker Committee Chairman, ISAAC OGBOBULA, the second suit was filed by ALAIBO SOIBIBO and three others against the All Progressives Congress.

According to the court processes, the two set of plaintiffs are seeking prayer of asking the court to nullify the ward, local government and State congresses conducted by the defendants and their agents for alleged exclusion and irregularities in the entire process.

According to Our Correspondent, the Presiding Judge, Justice I.R MINAKIRI said ” The claimants delayed their matter for over one month without effecting service, only to come yesterday, I tried my best to complete writing the judgment but no way, I can’t kill myself for something that has no meaning”

The matter has been Adjourned to 15th of February, 2022.
