by Area Talk

Rivers Governorship hopeful, Sen. Magnus Ngei Abe has said that in 2023, the Ogonis will rather jump into the river than be slaves to anyone.

Abe, who made this known in a statement over the weekend said they will contest and bring in a government that will be fair to everybody in the state,

According to him, no one person can decide who governs the state as the power to do so lies with Rivers people.

“In 2023, Ogonis will rather jump into water than be slaves….
We will contest.. and bring a govt in this state that will be fair to everybody,” he said.

He urged people of the state to register for the ‘ProjectSMA2023″ and for their Permanent Voters Card to elect credible leaders.

He reiterated that he must be on the ballot in next year’s governorship election.
