Job Summary:
The warehouse & inventory officer tracks stock movement and ensuring accuracy in inventory management. Conduct regular stock audit and reconciliation processes in support of the objectives of the organization. The role plays a large part in ensuring optimal inventory levels and implementing efficient inventory control processes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with inventory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Monitor inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, disposal, and stock adjustments, to ensure compliance with financial controls
- Overseas the engraving, labelling & tagging of asset identification number on all parts/assets
- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies
- Verify and post inventory transactions to ensure accuracy
- Ensure timely replenishment of stock by coordinating with procurement and logistics teams
- Perform regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
- Performs any other duties as assigned from time to time which may be deemed to fall within the remit of the post
Requirements:
- Minimum of HND/BSc degree in any related field
- 3 – 4 years of relevant experience
- Good understanding of inventory management and control
- Proficiency in computer applications and ERP systems
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
