Breaking: Former Transport Minister & Buhari Campaign DG Dumps APC

A former Minister of Transportation and President Muhammad Buhari Campaign DG in 2019 Honourable Yusuf Suleiman has Dumped the Ruling APC to the Opposition party PDP in Sokoto State.

Former Minister of Transport and one time Minister of Youth and Sport Development had contested in the just Concluded Governorship Primary Election under the platform of APC but lost to Ahmed Aliyu, a former deputy governor of Sokoto State and immediate past Secretary of Police Trust Fund After Polling 1,080 votes out of the 1,182 votes casted at the primary election contested by six aspirants

The former minister and a chieftain of APC was received by the running mate of PDP Presidential candidate, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Okowa in Sokoto.

Among those received from APC are

His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Abdullahi Balarabe Salame. former Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly, former Acting Governor of Sokoto State; currently a Member House of Representatives.

Rt. Hon. Aminu Mohammed Achida, The incumbent Speaker of the Sokoto State House of Assembly

Hon. Yusuf Isah Kurdula. He’s the current member representing Gudu/Tangaza at the House of Representatives.

Sen. Bello Jibrin Gada OFR. former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; former Minister of the Fed Republic of Nigeria.

Hon. Aminu Bello ACY, Former Commissioner of Commerce; former Sokoto State APC Secretary

Hon. Murtala Maigona, Current member of Sokoto State House of Assembly representing Wamakko Constituency

Hon. Abdullahi Hassan, He’s a former Chairman of the Sokoto North local government. Alh. AA Gumbi, A renowned businessman and APC gubernatorial aspirant, Alh.
