Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead the financial strategy and operations of the organization. He/She will provide financial insights, guide decision-making, and ensure financial stability and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide financial forecasts, budgets, and reports to support strategic planning.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and taxation activities.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial partners.
- Assess and manage financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them.
- Lead financial due diligence for potential investments and acquisitions.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations for business expansion and cost optimization.
- Mentor and develop the finance team, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Requirements
- Chartered Accountant with ACA, ACCA or ACMA qualification; additional professional certifications are a plus.
- MBA/MSc in Finance or Accounting is an added advantage
- 10-15 years of progressive financial management experience in the FMCG/ Manufacturing industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial financial role.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian financial regulations and taxation.
- Proven track record of financial leadership and strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical thinking and problems solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite.
