We are hiring to fill in the following positions:

1) Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, storage tanks, and piping systems in accordance with ASME, API, and other relevant codes.
  • Prepare mechanical datasheets, design calculations, fabrication drawings, and material specifications.
  • Perform stress analysis and thickness calculations using tools such as PV Elite, Compress, SolidWorks, Caesar II, and AutoPIPE.
  • Develop piping layouts, isometrics, and support details using AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or PDMS/E3D.
  • Review and interpret P&IDs, equipment layouts, and general arrangement drawings.
  • Coordinate with process, structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams to ensure integrated design
  • Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning.
  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOPs, constructability assessments, and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5+years of experience in mechanical design for oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
  • Strong knowledge of ASME Section VII Div. 1 & 2, API 650/620, API 661, and piping codes (ASME B31.3, 8314, 831.8).
  • Proficiency in design and analysis software: PV Elite, Compress, Caesar II, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Plant 3D, or POMSEID.
  • Familiarity with fabrication and welding practices, NDT, and QA/QC requirements.

2) Nigeria Content Development (NCD) Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Local Content Strategy Development
  • Develop and implement local content strategies in line with the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act.
  • Establish frameworks to ensure maximum use of Nigerian goods, services, personnel, and technology in all operations.
  • Policy Compliance and Reporting
  • Ensure strict compliance with the NCDMB regulations and all local content laws applicable to project activities.
  • Prepare and submit Nigerian Content Compliance Certificates and reports as required by the NCOMB.
  • Track and document compliance efforts, providing detailed reports for internal management and regulatory bodies.
  • Vendor and Supplier Development
  • Identify and evaluate local vendors and suppliers in alignment with Nigerian content requirements
  • Work closely with procurement teams to prioritize the use of Nigerian suppliers, materials, and services.
  • Build relationships with local businesses, fostering opportunities for partnerships and knowledge transfer.
  • Employment and Training Initiatives
  • Develop and implement training programs to build capacity among Nigerian employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Law, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a compliance or local content role, with a strong focus on the oil and gas industry or other regulated industries in Nigeria

3) Civil/ Structural Design Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Develop structural designs and calculations for concrete steel structures, foundations, and other infrastructure projects.
  • Prepare detailed engineering drawings, fabrication drawing, As-built drawing, basis of design and specifications, and Calculation reports using CAD and BIM software le.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, STAAD.Pro, AVEVA E3D, Excel).
  • Perform structural analysis and modeling to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (eg., Eurocodes, ACI, AISC, API RP2A, BS, ASCE, ISOI.
  • Collaborate with project managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs.
  • Support bidding/procurement by preparing material take-offs (MTOS), technical specifications, Client and vendor document reviews
  • Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases.
  • Participate in design reviews, project meetings, HAZIDS, constructability reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications, project standards, and HSE requirements.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather site data and ensure adherence to design specifications.
  • Provide technical support during construction/fabrication and resolve design-related issues as they arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • COREN or NSE is an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of offshore and onshore design practices.
  • Proficiency in structural design software (eg, STAAP PRO, SACS Tekla, Robot Structural Analysis).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
