Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) is a liquefied natural gas (LNG)-producing company and a liquefied natural gas plant on Bonny Island, Nigeria

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates in from our host communities for the 2024 Undergraduate Scholarship Award.

Summary:

In commemoration of its 35/25th Anniversary (35 years of incorporation and 25 years of operational excellence), NLNG wishes to announce a special edition of the NLNG Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme –UGSS Special Editionfor its Host
Communities.

The UGSS Special Edition is designed to empower exceptional students from the Company’s Host Communities by providing financial support necessary to complete their undergraduate studies atNigerian public universities.

NLNG is dedicated to fostering an inclusive scholarship program and actively encourages applications from all eligible indigenes of its host communities, includingPersons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs).

Criteria:

  • Must be a citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and currently residing in the country.
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time first year student in 2024/2025 academic session in an undergraduate programme at an accredited Nigerian federal or state-owned university.
  • Must possess at least five O-Level credits including Mathematics and English, in WASC, SSCE or NECO in ONE sitting.
  • Must be between 18 and 25 years old at the time of application.
  • Must not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship, bursary, or grant from any other organization.
  • Must NOT be a spouse, child, ward, or direct relation of staff of NLNG.

Requirements:

    • Ensure you have clear scanned copies of the following documents for upload: a. Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
    • b. O-Level and UTME results
    • c. University and JAMB Admission letter
    • d. University student ID card
    • e. National Population Commission Issued Birth certificate
    • f. Local Government Area (LGA) letter of identification
    • g. National ID Number (NIN) Slip
    • h. Community letter of identification signed by a Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman or paramount ruler/king.

    Note:

    • You are to apply using your registered Email address and Mobile number
    • Ensure the documents are named according to what they represent to avoid mixing up documents
    • Ensure you attach the appropriate documents when asked to upload
    • Complete academic transcripts from 100 level to the most recent academic year, signed and stamped by the university’s registry, exams unit, or the appropriate authority.
