Responsibilities:
- Coordinate discipline reviews and inputs for flowline; pipeline; trunkline and storage tanks during the design phase of a project.
- Coordinate and manage contractors during the execution of projects and ensure all flowline; pipeline; trunkline and storage tanks construction work scope are delivered following the approved designs, standards, and regulatory provisions.
- Coordinate and manage contractors to ensure flowline; pipeline; trunkline and storage tanks are achieved safely in upholding corporate HSE goals and objectives.
- Coordinate integrity assessment for flowline; pipeline; trunkline and storage tanks in line with Asset Integrity plans; Regulatory stipulations and industry best practices.
- Development and review of work method statements, JHA, and other relevant documents for the execution of the project within the flowline; pipeline; trunkline, and storage tank disciplines.
- Coordinate Pipeline Engineer’s support to ensure all Oil & Gas assets are available for maximum facility uptime.
- Coordinating maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to pipelines, as needed.
- Contribute to the department’s annual work program presentation and budget preparations.
- Etc.
Accountabilities:
- Ensuring designs and specifications for flowline, pipeline, trunkline, and storage tanks conform to Engineering Standards and Regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, industry codes, health, and safety standards are met during flowline, pipeline, trunkline, and storage tanks construction.
- Ensuring that projects and tasks assigned to the function are completed safely, with no variation, on schedule, and without unapproved deviation from project specifications, scope, and intentions.
- Compilation and submission of daily progress reports of active projects and other activities within the function.
- Computation and reporting of progress measurements weekly, showing planned versus actual; S-curves, etc. for major projects and activities assigned to function.
- Supervising staff deployed to work within the function.
Minimum Requirements:
- B.Sc. or equivalent in any Engineering discipline and with
- A minimum of 18 years working experience in Oil & Gas Pipeline construction, operations, and Project Management.
Experience and Skills:
- Knowledge of applied engineering principles and practices.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Knowledge of Oil and Gas HSE policies and practices.
- Knowledge of Industry Regulations and Standards governing the Oil & Gas Pipelines.
- Knowledge of oil & gas industry construction standards and codes such as International Electrical Code (IEC), National Electrical Code (NEC), American Petroleum Institute (API), American National Standard Institute (ANSI), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
