Mohammed Sani Musa is a Nigerian politician and the senator representing the Niger East Senatorial District of Niger State at the Nigerian 9th National Assembly.

SENATOR DANJUMA GOJE
He was born on October 10, 1952, in Kashere, in Akko Local Government Area of Gombe State, Nigeria.
Danjuma Goje attended the Ahmadu Bello University(ABU), Zaria where he graduated with a degree in Political Science.
He began his political journey by being a member of the Bauchi State house of Assembly from 1979 to 1983.
He went ahead to work as the secretary of the National Institute for Medical Research in Yaba, Lagos State from 1984 to 1989.
Danjuma Goje subsequently became the Chairman and Managing Director of the company established by him, Zaina Nigeria Limited which he named after his mother, Hajiya Zainab.
He ran the company from 1989 to 1999.
Danjuma Goje contested for the seat of Senator in the Nigerian National Assembly in 1998 and later on became the Minister of State, Power and Steel from 1999-2001 under President Olusegun Obasanjo led administration.
In 2003, he was elected Governor of Gombe State, Nigeria. He was in office from 2003 to 2011.
In the April 2011 elections, Muhammed Danjuma Goje competed successfully to be elected Senator for Gombe Central on the PDP ticket.
He however later defected to the All Progressive Congress(APC).
In the 2015 elections , he again contested for the senatorial seat for Gombe Central and won. This time around, under the platform of the APC.
The Gombe State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, through its Chairman, Magaji Doho however expelled the senator representing Gombe-Central senatorial district, Danjuma Goje, from the party with effect from July 1, 2015 for his alleged engagement in anti-party activities.
MALLAM ISA YUGUDA
Mallam Isa Yuguda was born in Yuguda, Bauchi State on June 15, 1956. He attended the North East College of Arts & Science (NECAS), Maiduguri where he obtained a Joint Matriculation Board Certificate.
Mallam Isa Yuguda proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he studied Economics and obtained his B. Sc. (Hons) in Economics in the year 1979.
After his first degree, he proceeded for his Masters program in Business Administration at the University of Jos in 1998.
Prior to obtaining his Masters Degree, Mallam Isa Yuguda worked in the following banks: Federal Mortgage Bank,Savannah Bank, Inland Bank, NAL Merchant Bank etc.
During the regime of Olusegun Obasnjo, Mallam Isa Yuguda was appointed Minister of State for Transport. Later, he manned the Ministry of Aviation as a minister also.
In the year 2007, Mallam Isa Yuguda contested for governorship election in Bauchi State and won. Following his election, he was sworn-in on May 29, 2007.
Mallam Isa Yuguda is married to Hajiya Hauwa Abiodun Yuguda.
KASHIM SHETTIMA
He was Commissioner of Local Governments and Chieftaincy Affairs (2008), Education (2009), Agriculture and Natural Resources and finally to the Ministry of Health from where he contested the Governorship in 2011 which he won under the platform of the now defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP and was inaugurated on May 29, 2011.
He won reelection in 2015 under the All Progressives Congress, APC and was unambiguously chosen as Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum, an umbrella body of Governors in the 19 States located in northern Nigeria.
Mr Kashim attended Lamisula Primary School in Maiduguri from 1972 to 1978;.
Government Community Secondary School, Biu in southern part of Borno State from 1978 to 1980 and was transferred to Government Science Secondary School, Potiskum (now in neighbouring Yobe State) where he completed his secondary education in 1983.
He studied at the University of Maiduguri and earned a Degree (BSc) in Agricultural Economics in 1989.
He had his one-year compulsory membership of the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC, at the defunct Nigerian Agricultural Cooperative Bank, Calabar, capital of Cross River State in South-South, Nigeria, from 1989 to 1990.
He obtained a master’s degree (MSc) in Agricultural Economics in 1991 at the University of Ibadan in Southwest, Nigeria.
Shettima joined the University of Maiduguri as a Lecturer with the Department of Agricultural Economics and was in the academia from 1991 to 1993.
ALI MODU SHERIFF
Ali Modu Sheriff was born in Ngala Town, Ngala Local Government Area, Borno State in 1956.
His father was the business tycoon Galadima Modu Sheriff. He attended Government Secondary School, Bama (1974–1979).
He attended the London School of Business, where he studied Insurance, Banking and Finance.
In 1981, he joined his father’s construction company as a Director, later becoming Managing Director.
In 1985, he registered his first company.

He was elected as a senator from Borno during the Third Nigerian Republic under the banner of NRC.
He is Borno State’s first governor to serve two consecutive terms (2003–2011).

In 2014, Sheriff switched affiliation to the People’s Democratic Party and acted as the National Working Committee chair from 16 February 2016 until the National Convention, when he was removed and replaced by Ahmed Makarfi.

George Akume born 27 December 1953.
He is a Nigerian politician who is the current Minister of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs.
He was a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He was the Minority Leader of the Senate from June 2011 to June 2015.
He was also the Governor of Benue State from 29 May 1999 to 29 May 2007.
He was the first Governor of Benue State to have completed two terms in office.
He was elected governor of Benue State on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and was then elected to the Senate to represent the people of Benue as a senator for Benue North-West.
Akume was re-elected Senator for Benue North-West in the April 2011 elections, running on the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) platform.
He was again re-elected to the senate under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2015.

ABDUL-AZIZ YARi ABUBAKER
He was born on the 1st of January, 1969 in Anka, Zamfara State
He started his education at Talata Mafara Township Primary School, from where he proceeded to Government Teacher’s College Bakura between 1979 to 1984.
He completed his tertiary education at Sokoto Polytechnic from 1991 to 1994 and obtained a certificate and later a Diploma in Secretarial Studies in 2004.
He also attended Kebbi Polytechnic for a Graduate Diploma in Public Administration in 2008.
In 1999, he served as the Secretary of the then All Nigeria People’s Party (ANPP) between 1999 and 2003.
He was elected Chairman of ANPP Zamfara State in 2003 and later rose to the position of ANPP National Financial Secretary and served in this position till 2007 when he was elected as Member representing Anka/Talata Mafara Federal Constituency from 2007 to 2011.
On April 26, 2011, Abdul-aziz Yari Abubakar was elected Governor of Zamfara State on the platform of the All Nigeria Peoples Party(ANPP).

UMARU TANKO AL-MAKURA
Umaru Tanko Al-Makura is a Nigerian businessman and politician and also a former governor who is a senator in Nasarawa State running under the All Progressive Congress ticket. He was elected as a senator in 2019.
Al-makura was born 1952 in Lafia, Nasarawa State. He attended Dunama Primary School, Lafia (1959–1966).
Keffi Teacher’s College (1967–1971) and then Government Teachers College of Education, Uyo (1972–75).
For a short period in 1975 he was an Assistant Producer at the Broadcasting Corporation of Northern Nigeria.
He then went to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1975–1978), graduating with a Bachelor of Education Degree.
For his National Youth Service he was a teacher at the Government College, Makurdi.
In 1978 he formed Almakura Nigeria Limited, importing and servicing agricultural and industrial machinery. Later he ventured into real estate and property development as owner and chairman of Ta’al Nigeria Limited, with properties in Abuja, Lagos, Kano and Washington DC, United States.
He owns the Ta’al Lake Resort, Abuja and the Ta’al Conference Hotel, Lafia.
In 1980, Almakura became the youth leader of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN) in the old Plateau State.
He was elected to the constitution Assembly of 1988–89, representing the Lafia–Obi Federal Constituency of what is now Nasarawa State.
He was state secretary of the National Republican Convention (NRC) party in Plateau State from 1990 to 1992. Al-makura was a founding member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Nasarawa State in 1998.
He defected from the PDP after losing the primary elections for the Nasarawa Governor competition.
Al-Makura was elected Governor of Nasarawa State, Nigeria on 26 April 2011, running on the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) ticket.
He defeated the incumbent governor, Aliyu Akwe-Doma of the PDP.
ABDULLAHI ADAMU
Abdullahi Adamu was born in Keffi, Nasarawa State, on 23 July 1946. He attended the Government Secondary School, Makurdi (1960–1962).
The Government Technical College, Bukuru (1962–1965) and Kaduna Polytechnic (1965–1968).
He returned to Kaduna Polytechnic for a Higher National Diploma in June 1971.
Adamu started work in 1967 with the Electricity Corporation of Nigeria.
In 1971, he joined the Northern Nigeria Development Corporation (NNDC) Kaduna.
In 1973, he joined AEK, a consultancy firm, where he was Project Manager for construction of Durbar Hotel and Murtala Mohammed Square, Kaduna.
In October 1975, he was appointed the Executive Secretary of the Benue/Plateau Construction Company by the Benue/Plateau State government.
From February 1980 – September 1983 he was Chairman of the Benue Cement Company, Gboko.
In 1987, he enrolled in the part-time degree programme of the University of Jos, obtaining an LLB (Hons) in 1992.
He enrolled in the Nigerian Law School, Lagos where he obtained his BL and was called to the Bar as a solicitor and Advocate of Supreme Court of Nigeria in December 1993.
Adamu joined politics in 1977, and was elected to the Constituent Assembly, which drafted the constitution for Nigeria’s short-lived Second Republic (1979–1983).
He was a pioneer member of the National Party of Nigeria (NPN), the first Secretary-General of the NPN in Plateau State from December 1978, and chairman of the NPN in the Plateau from 1982 to 1983, when military rule began again.
In 1994, he was appointed to the National Constitutional Conference by General Sani Abacha’s administration.
In March 1995, Adamu was appointed a minister of state of the Works and Housing ministry, holding this position until November 1997. When the ban on political activity was lifted in 1997, he joined the United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP).
In 1998, Adamu became a founding member of People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In 1999 Nasarawa State gubernatorial election, Abdullahi Adamu ran successfully for position of governor on the PDP platform and was re-elected during the 2003 Nasarawa State gubernatorial election.
